Sarantis Romania, the Romanian subsidiary of the Sarantis Group, a leading supplier of mass market cosmetics, household and personal hygiene FMCG products in Central Eastern Europe, has decided to implement Mantis’ Warehouse and Tranportation Vision for the management and optimization of its supply chain in Romania.
Sarantis Group, produces and distributes a wide range of FMCG products focusing in mass market cosmetics, household and personal hygiene products. The company with its headquarters in Athens-Greece, holds a leading position in the Greek market and has also significant presence through its own subsidiaries in 7 countries in Central and Eastern Europe (Poland, Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Czech Republic, FYROM, and Hungary).
Sarantis Romania is a major player in the Romanian market, covering the growing sector of affordable cosmetics mainly by own products with trade names such as STR8, DARE, C-THRU, BU and X-POSE as well as by products from its partners. In addition to the mass cosmetics, the company distributes well known brands of household and personal hygiene products.
The company, a long time innovator and leader in the use of IT systems for the optimization of logistics operations, has been for over 3 years a customer of Novensys, Mantis’ local partner in Romania. In order to better support its growing and demanding logistics operations consisting of a central distribution center in Bucharest and three regional centers thoughout the country, the company decided to implement Mantis’ Warehouse and Transportation Vision.
Romania is the second country after Poland where Sarantis Group implements Mantis’ IT technological solutions for the support of their everyday logistics operations. Mantis will implement the project together with its partner Novensys.
